“A Bollywood Ball will be a fantastic evening filled with fun and laughter and a great opportunity to raise funds for Eden House.

“We have caterers from Manchester providing an Indian banquet, there will also be a charity auction, a performance of Indian dancing as well as a disco at the end of the evening.

“Though Indian dress is not compulsory, we are encouraging as many people as possible to come in bright, ethnic outfits.”

Moira added: "It will be good to see old and new friends and colleagues at the ball which promises to be the event of the year. I am keen to support of the work the hospice and this is a great opportunity to raise funds for this service for children and young people in Cumbria."
