The most recent Full Council of Members meeting took place on
14 October 2021 virtually via MS Teams.
It included a short update session on the transition from CCG to part of the wider Integrated Care System including timescales and likely direction of travel.
It also included an update around Primary Care Networks and the General Practice Provider Collaborative. Thank you to all who joined.

The Full Council of Members defines the coming-together of the 35 GP member practices to agree changes to the constitution and debate any significant policy or financial change which the members feel necessary.
The Council shall meet at least once annually to agree any changes to the Constitution and to ensure publication of the Annual Report and Accounts by the Governing Body.

The Council will ensure that the CCG has appropriate arrangements in place to exercise its functions effectively, efficiently and economically and in accordance with clearly established principles of good governance. It will:
(1) retain for itself only those matters set out in the CCG’s Scheme of Delegation
(2) will apply best practice in decision making processes and shall have full authority to commission any reports or surveys it deems necessary to help it fulfil its obligations
(3) shall conduct its business in accordance with national guidance and relevant codes of conduct / good governance practice
(4) at least annually the Council will review its own performance, membership and terms of reference. Any resulting changes to the terms of reference or membership requires Council approval.
There is no requirement for these meetings to be held in public, however, during the full council of members meeting on 5 June 2013, the GP members voted unanimously to hold future Full Council of Members meetings in Public.
